Johnny has had a sickness for dance music since he was 12 years old. This Irish Italian kid grew up in the Chicago suburbs as a break dancer (back when it blew up big in 1985). Back then, Johnny would “wow” the crowds with his fancy footwork above a cardboard dancefloor. Years later when Chicago created the genre known as Hip House in 1989, Johnny’s high-tops tore up the dancefloor again in the club scene. Johnny stayed in the clubs, learning exactly what the crowd liked. He knew what they wanted to see on the dancefloor and what they wanted to hear on the speakers. In 1991, he got himself a pair of Technic 1200s and the rest is history. Johnny has over 15 years experience with electronic music.
